SCBWI Conferece Follow Up
The SCBWI was amazing! I met so many wonderful illustrators that inspired me to come back to the table and start working on new pieces. I want to share with you a few of their websites, thank them for their valuable feedback and support in this crazy journey of becoming a full-time illustrator. Angela Padron, Jill Dana Siegel, Kathy Blackmore, Marjorie Shropshire, Wilson Williams and our instructors: Janeen Mason and special guest: Henry Cole. I am grateful for the one-on-one critique that I had with Henry, for his suggestions, his constructive criticism and helping me focus on my objectives moving forward.

SCBWI Regional Conference
Nope, I am not sitting outside by the pool waiting for the sun to come out - I wish!. I have been in lockdown trying to finish my portfolio for this weekend's critique and illustrator's workshop. I am tired but excited to see what this experience will bring. Oh! it looks like the sun will finally come out this weekend -I miss the hot weather and the sun rays.

2010 Word: Illustrator
I am excited and nervous as the days to the SCBWI regional conference are approaching! January 14-16, 2010. I have so many things to do in order to finish my portfolio. I will keep you posted and share with you all the good stuff from the conference/workshops. PS- Wish me luck, I will have my first ever portfolio critique! sigh!
