I love this last piece. You have grown so much as an artist and I think you do not realize it. You are in a point where you must think about..."Defying Gravity"...as that song from Wicked says...You will have to leap sooner or later.
Hi Sarah, Very nice to meet you I am a fellow fishie in Marisa's e-course. I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I love this illustration it has a beautiful touch an Eric Carle style but with your twist of course. I love the colors too! I just recently started getting back into illustration and am taking a few children's book illustration classes which I am really enjoying. Working on a story - I've been tempted to join SCBWI but feel I am not ready - it seems so intimidating for a newbie. Anway, I've enjoyed reading your blog ;-) ivyallover
